Position: Junior ERP Software Support Executive

• Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
• Employment Type: Full-Time Entry Track

Job Purpose

The Junior ERP Software Support Executive serves as the first line of technical assistance for clients operating enterprise resource planning systems. This role focuses on diagnosing system inconsistencies, configuring user parameters, and ensuring high software availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Troubleshooting: Respond to incoming user queries regarding ERP system errors, diagnose functional bugs, rectify data inconsistencies, and escalate complex code-level bugs to senior development units.
• System Maintenance & Updates: Support routine system health checks to optimize uptime, assist in configuring basic module environments (such as defining user permissions and system settings), and help deploy minor updates.
• User Training & Onboarding: Provide direct operational guidance and foundational training to client staff to maximize system efficiency and ensure best-practice workflows.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a closely related computing discipline.

Core Competencies & Skills:

• System Knowledge: Foundational understanding of standard corporate ERP architectures and enterprise software platforms (e.g., IDS, CNET, or similar business management applications).
• Database Skills: Basic familiarity with writing SQL/database queries for backend data verification and troubleshooting is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent technical communication and problem-solving abilities, combined with a strong customer-service orientation and a proactive willingness to master complex corporate systems.
