Oromia Insurance Company (OIC), an established private insurer backed by a strong financial foundation and a diverse social base of over 1.6 million cooperative farmers, is seeking qualified and competent professionals for its operations in Addis Ababa.

Open Positions & Requirements

1. Inspector

• Workplace: Head Office, Addis Ababa
• Education: BA Degree or TVET Level IV in Auto Mechanics.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience (Fresh graduates are eligible to apply).
• Remuneration: In accordance with the Company’s salary scale and benefit packages.

2. Director, Risk Management and Compliance Services Directorate

• Workplace: Head Office, Addis Ababa
• Accountability: Directly reports and is accountable to the Board of Directors; administratively reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
• Job Summary: Oversees independent appraisals of policies, procedures, and standards across financial, human, and material resources. Conducts risk assessments to add value and assist the Board and Management in maintaining regulatory and operational compliance.
• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized higher learning institution. Preference will be given to candidates holding a diploma or advanced diploma in insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the insurance sector, with at least 4 years served in a managerial capacity within core areas of general insurance business.
