At-Con Engineering & Architectural Consultancy PLC was established in 2002 to provide a comprehensive range of engineering and design solutions across Ethiopia. Serving governmental bodies, private developers, and public enterprises, the firm specializes in Highway, Structural, Water Resource, and Bridge Engineering, alongside core Architectural services.

The firm is currently seeking highly technical, experienced, and software-proficient professionals to join its head office team on a Contract basis.

Architectural Design Department

1. Architect

Location: Head Office (Addis Ababa)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Architecture from a recognized university.
Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architectural design and construction supervision.
Core Competencies & Software:
- Specific, hands-on experience in building design and landscape architectural works.
- Deep proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit to prepare high-quality working drawings, detail sheets, and 3D models.
- Strong working knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and zoning standards.
- Preferred: Prior experience in sustainable or green building design; registration/eligibility for professional licensure.

2. Senior Architect

Location: Head Office (Addis Ababa)
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience in architectural design and large-scale project construction supervision.
Core Competencies & Software:
- Mandatory Certification: Must be BIM Certified with a proven track record of executing BIM-based project delivery.
- High-level mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and associated rendering plugins.
- Strong project management, team leadership, and cross-functional communication skills.

Structural & Civil Engineering Department

3. Structural Engineer

Location: Head Office (Addis Ababa)
Education: BSc or MSc Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
Experience Required: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in structural design and structural analysis.
Core Competencies & Software:
- Proven track record working on vertical infrastructure projects (buildings), bridges, or heavy industrial facilities.
- High proficiency in specialized structural design software, specifically ETABS and CSI SAFE.
- Thorough understanding of load calculations, structural analysis, and material behavior under stress.

4. Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Head Office (Addis Ababa)
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with a definitive specialization in Structural Engineering preferred.
Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years of professional engineering design and on-site structural supervision experience.
Core Competencies & Software:
- Mandatory Certification: Must be BIM Certified with practical experience in structural modeling and cross-disciplinary BIM coordination.
- Comprehensive mastery of engineering software tools: ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Deep familiarity with local and international structural building codes, safety factors, and load distribution standards.
