Omo Bank is an Ethiopian financial institution providing retail, microfinance, and commercial banking solutions across the country. The bank is currently upgrading its digital infrastructure and expanding its core IT department at its Head Office.
Open Positions
1. IT Security Officer I
- Education Requirement: MSc/BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 1 year for MSc graduates or 2 years for BSc graduates in IT or Information Security.
- Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH – Entry Level), ISO 27001 Foundation, or Network+.
2. Senior Application Development Officer
- Education Requirement: MSc/BSc in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 4 years for MSc holders or 5 years for BSc holders in related fields.
- Role Prerequisite: Must have at least 2 years of experience as a System Admin Officer, Core IT Application Support Officer, or equivalent.
3. Application Developer Officer III
- Education Requirement: MSc/BSc in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 3 years for MSc holders or 4 years for BSc holders in related roles.
- Role Prerequisite: At least 1 year of experience as Application Developer Officer II.
4. Application Developer Officer II
- Education Requirement: MSc/BSc in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years for MSc holders or 3 years for BSc holders in related roles.
- Role Prerequisite: At least 1 year of experience as Application Developer Officer I.
5. System Administrator Officer II
- Education Requirement: MSc/BSc in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years for MSc holders or 3 years for BSc holders in related roles.
- Role Prerequisite: At least 1 year of experience as System Administrator Officer I.
