Job Summary
The OBC Coordinator is responsible for managing the operational integrity of the On-Board Computer (OBC) system and fleet safety management. This includes ensuring compliance with monitoring procedures, overseeing service provider performance, enhancing driver behavior, and supporting system functionality for safe and efficient fuel transport operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure OBC monitoring aligns with Data Monitoring and Control Procedures.
- Supervise OBC administrators’ daily performance and time management.
- Confirm platform functionality and report system issues to Fleet Safety Manager and service providers.
- Generate daily reports; ensure all trucks have functional all-in-one devices. Prepare daily violation reports via Power BI and follow up on closures.
- Coordinate maintenance and evaluate service provider interventions.
- Organize training for OBC administrators and drivers.
- Enforce sanctions for driver violations and manage the DPS (Driver Point System) platform.
- Oversee installation of technical tools applicable for fleet safety management systems.
- Engage drivers on violations and recommend re-training for low DPS scores.
- Maintain driver engagement records and update blacklisted driver database.
Accountability:
- Ensure safe driver behavior during fuel transport operations.
- Report anomalies, near misses, and unsafe operations using Stop Cards.
- Comply with TEME and company HSSE rules, including the 12 TotalEnergies Golden Rules.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: B.Sc. Degree in any Engineering field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a similar sector.
- Skills: Data analysis, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Language: Fluent in spoken and written English.
