Position: Branch Manager – Internal/External

  • Kabribayah Branch
  • Jigjiga Branch
  • Ayshia Branch
  • Aweday Branch

Job Objective

To lead and coordinate the marketing activities of all staff within the branch, support the sustainable and profitable growth of the Bank, and improve operational efficiency and resource utilization. The Branch Manager is also responsible for enhancing customer attraction, satisfaction, and retention through excellent service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the overall activities of the branch.
  • Identify and recruit potential customers and provide professional financial advice.
  • Motivate, coach, and supervise branch staff.
  • Develop and implement service delivery plans and programs to optimize service excellence and customer experience.
  • Ensure proper compilation of information for loan and foreign currency requests and submit them for further processing and approval.
  • Coordinate branch marketing efforts and regulate brand usage in line with the Bank’s standards.
  • Manage and monitor customer service levels to meet expectations.
  • Jointly check and sign the daily cash book with the Customer Service Supervisor.
  • Measure staff performance periodically and provide support for customer relationship management and growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Master’s Degree or BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
  • Experience:
    • 4 years of banking experience for Master’s Degree holders.
    • 6 years of banking experience for BA Degree holders.
    • Minimum of 2 years as a Branch Manager Grade I.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven experience in account management.
  • Good knowledge of financial software applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
