Position: Senior Officer – Credit Workout
Job Summary
The Senior Officer – Credit Workout is responsible for minimizing and closely monitoring the Bank’s non-performing loans (NPLs) to improve asset quality and enhance overall profitability. The position plays a key role in implementing effective credit workout strategies and ensuring timely remedial actions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Review borrowers’ loan files and accounts to identify loans requiring workout actions
- Conduct regular assessments to identify problem areas in loan collection and recommend remedial measures
- Identify and recommend problem loans for transfer to the Legal Department
- Review customer complaints and ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries
- Implement credit workout strategies, programs, policies, procedures, and standards
- Recommend necessary improvements to credit workout-related frameworks
- Prepare analytical reports on workout cases and submit them to the appropriate Credit Committee for decision
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s / BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
Work Experience
- Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
- At least 2 years at the level of Officer or equivalent
