1. Legal Officer
Job Objective
To protect the Bank from potential legal risks by providing legal advice to credit process performers and reviewing, confirming, and ensuring the legality of required documents.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare loan, pledge/mortgage, and related legal contracts
- Ensure legality and compliance of all borrowers
- Review contracts for completeness and validity and approve accordingly
- Review registration of mortgage contracts and collateral insurance policies
- Ensure proper custody and filing of security and loan documents
- Monitor limitation periods of mortgage contracts and take timely actions
- Represent the Bank before courts, tribunals, and judicial organs
- Identify legal gaps and recommend corrective measures
- Coach and train staff on legal issues
- Work closely with credit performers
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirement
- Education: LLM or LLB Degree in Law
- Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years relevant legal experience, of which at least 3 years in the banking sector

2. Trainee E-Learning Designer and Developer
Job Objective
To support the development, implementation, and delivery of high-quality, innovative digital learning content for Bank of Abyssinia employees.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand bank products, services, operations, policies, and regulations
- Learn organizational culture, values, and code of conduct
- Assist in designing interactive, responsive, and gamified eLearning content
- Support development using tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar software
- Assist in video recording, editing, and multimedia production
- Support LMS content upload, organization, and maintenance
- Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and IT teams
- Apply UX and learner-centered design principles
- Support AI-assisted tools for content creation and learning analytics
- Assist in studio, smart classroom, and multimedia equipment operation
- Implement storyboards prepared by senior staff
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirement
- Education: BSc Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Information Systems
- Electrical & Computer Engineering
- Or related fields
- Additional Advantage: Certification in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Video Editing, or Animation
- Experience: Not required
- Year of Graduation: 2024 or 2025
- CGPA: 3.0 and above
- Age: 25 years and below
- Exit Exam Result: 80% and above
