The HR Generalist is responsible for providing professional HR support and advisory services to employees and line managers throughout the employee lifecycle. The role ensures effective HR processes, compliance with labor laws, and efficient HR system management while contributing to organizational development and HR projects.

  • Provide HR advice and support to employees and line managers on personnel and labor law matters
  • Ensure operational HR outcomes in cooperation with the Global HR Business Partner
  • Take responsibility for specific HR tasks within the HR team based on expertise
  • Develop, improve, and digitalize HR processes and systems
  • Maintain high-quality data management within HR systems
  • Manage and participate in HR projects and organizational initiatives
  • Coordinate HR capacity support across different country programs
  • Strengthen collaboration within the global HR community
  • Manage external service providers related to HR services
  • Engage in professional HR development and networking to stay updated with best practices

πŸŽ“ Education Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in:

  • Human Resource Management
  • Business Administration
  • Related fields or comparable HR qualification

πŸ’Ό Experience Requirement

  • Professional experience in Human Resources within an international organization, NGO, or company

πŸ“š Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws
  • Understanding of international labor regulations is an advantage
  • Experience in office administration is beneficial
  • Strong digital mindset and openness to organizational change
