Intern – Digital Communications
Location
- Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Educational Qualification
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (minimum 2nd year completed) in:
- Communications
- Journalism
- Related fields
- OR enrolled in a graduate (Master’s) program in relevant fields
- OR recent graduate (within the last 6 months) in:
- Communications
- Journalism
- Related disciplines
Experience
- Fresh graduates / students are encouraged to apply
- No prior work experience required (portfolio is important)
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- After Effects, Lightroom
- Canva & MS Office
- Strong digital communication and content creation skills
- Creative portfolio with attention to detail
- Good understanding of communication strategies
- Ability to work independently and in diverse teams
- Flexibility and adaptability
Language Requirement
- Fluency in:
- English (written & spoken)
- Amharic (written & spoken)
Eligibility Requirements
- Must have attended university within the last 12 months
- Must be able to travel and work in the duty station
- Must not be an immediate family member of WFP staff
- Educational credentials must be from recognized institutions (e.g., recognized by UNESCO or national authorities)
