The bank’s Human Capital Management department is currently seeking a highly qualified professional to lead its IT Risk Management function.
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Risk Frameworks & Governance: Lead the IT Risk Management unit; design, implement, and maintain comprehensive frameworks, corporate policies, and operational compliance procedures.
- Threat Mitigation & Auditing: Systematically identify, assess, and monitor IT and cybersecurity risks across all enterprise networks, software applications, and physical hardware infrastructure.
- Security & Access Control: Oversee cross-departmental information security controls, encompassing rigorous data protection protocols, strict system access management, and user privilege matrices.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Coordinate routine IT risk reviews, vulnerability scans, and system control effectiveness testing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the core IT, Cybersecurity, Internal Audit, and Compliance teams to remediate flagged system risks.
- Business Continuity: Champion disaster recovery planning, infrastructure failover strategies, and routine business continuity testing.
- Reporting & Training: Prepare authoritative IT risk and security dashboards for executive leadership, and deliver cyber-best-practice training to bank staff.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s (BA/BSc) or Master’s (MA/MSc) Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or closely related ICT fields.
Work Experience:
- For Master’s Degree Holders: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within the banking sector.
- For Bachelor’s Degree Holders: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience within the banking sector.
- Mandatory Management Requirement: At least 2 years of the total experience must be in a senior-level technical or supervisory role.
Core Competencies & Skills:
- In-depth understanding of banking information systems architectures and structural security controls.
- Familiarity with risk assessment matrices and IT compliance benchmarks.
- Strong leadership, documentation, and technical report writing capabilities.
