Inter Luxury Hotel (managed under J H Simex Private Limited Company) is an award-winning, prestigious luxury property located in the heart of the Kazanchis area in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Comprising 152 luxuriously furnished rooms, 42 furnished apartments, 13 conference halls, a 360-degree revolving restaurant, and various high-end amenities, the property operates to world-class international standards.

The hotel is currently seeking dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated hospitality professionals to join its leadership and operational teams.

Executive & Management Leadership Roles

1. Food & Beverage (F&B) Director

  • Job Summary: Coordinate all aspects of group meetings, banquets, and everyday restaurant operations. Assist clients with program planning, menu development, and manage all F&B service and back-of-house staff.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Hotel and Tourism Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of direct experience as an F&B Manager or Director.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in hospitality POS and management systems, particularly Opera and Micros.
  • Core Competencies: Highly cost-sensitive, excellent leadership traits, and the ability to handle a demanding workflow under pressure.

2. Finance Director

  • Job Summary: Enhance business profitability by establishing financial strategies, monitoring metrics, maintaining accurate reports, and enforcing strict internal controls to safeguard hotel assets. Ensure compliance with federal and local taxation/financial regulations.
  • Education: Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of experience as a Finance Director or Finance Manager specifically within a 4-star or 5-star international hotel.
  • Technical Skills: Strategic planner with high computer literacy and specific systems implementation knowledge of SUN, Opera, and Micros.
  • Core Competencies: Outstanding leadership, training, and coaching skills; strong technical accounting and statutory reporting capabilities.

3. Sales & Marketing Manager

  • Reports To: Sales & Marketing Director
  • Job Summary: Implement the hotel’s core sales and marketing strategies to hit top-line revenue targets, maximize profitability, and increase the hotel’s market share.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Core Competencies: High degree of commercial awareness, excellent sales negotiation skills, and fluency in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage).

Supervisory & Culinary Operational Roles

4. Front Office Supervisor

  • Education: BA, Degree, or Diploma in Front Office Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 or more years of work experience in an international 4-star or 5-star hotel in a supervisory or team leader capacity.
  • Core Competencies: Comprehensive knowledge of front office operations, proficiency in the Opera system, and excellent bilingual communication (English and Amharic).

5. Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Food & Beverage from a recognized hotel institute or college.
  • Experience: At least 3 or more years of experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel as an F&B Supervisor.
  • Core Competencies: Deep understanding of restaurant operations and event/banquet functions; fluent in English with great interpersonal skills.

6. Sous Chef

  • Required Quantity: 1
  • Education: Diploma in Food Preparation or a TVET Level IV certification in Food Production Supervision.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of kitchen experience in a 5-star international or brand hotel.
  • Core Competencies: Solid understanding of food costing, menu engineering, kitchen hygiene practices, and occupational health and safety standards. Requires flexibility for shift scheduling.
