Open Positions & Specifications
1. Junior Import & Export Officer
- Department: Supply Chain / Logistics & Procurement
- Employment Type: Full-Time

- Experience Required: 0 years (Fresh Graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
- Education: BA Degree in Procurement and Supply Management, Management, Business Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Key Functions & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the export logistics for Day-Old Chickens (DOC), soybean feed, and hatching eggs.
- Scriptor and process essential bank permits, insurance underwriting files, and type import authorization requests.
- File and follow up on import permits at the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) and Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA/EAA) for veterinary medicines, parental stock (PS), and nutritional premixes.
- Hand over shipping paperwork to corporate customs transit clearance providers; follow up closely through all regulatory customs checkpoints (assessments, finance, duty verification, and warehouse clearance checks).
- Coordinate the timely administrative clearance of import files at the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) to completely prevent delinquency listings.
- Core Competencies: Clear communication and foundational negotiation talent; capability to prioritize workflow under tight regulatory shipping deadlines.
2. Hatchery Logistics Officer (Data & Payments)
- Department: Hatchery Operations & Fleet Logistics
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Experience Required: 0 years (Fresh Graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or closely related fields.
- Key Functions & Responsibilities:
- Data Integrity: Perform rapid, clean entry of post-delivery logs, transport routes, and inventory updates directly into the corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system.
- Document Processing: Audit and receive delivery orders (DO) directly from transit drivers; scan, verify fields, and safely route physical and digital copies to the main corporate archives.
- Logistics Reconciliation: Cross-reference loaded shipment indices with daily store metrics, keeping track of Day-of-Arrival (DOA) mortality data, missing items, and return logs within an 8-hour target window.
- Payment Administration: Audit and clear advanced payments; verify that destination agents sign off on DO sheets, and submit payment requests to finance within 1 hour of receiving documentation.
- Core Competencies: Extreme attention to structural accuracy, data validation skills, rapid problem-solving, and complete adaptability.
