Position: Logistics Operation Manager

Job Summary:
The Logistics Operation Manager will manage end-to-end logistics operations across multiple company locations. This includes strategizing, planning, and optimizing transportation, distribution, and fuel inventory management to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align logistics with business goals.
  • Coordinate logistics across multiple locations/business units.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
  • Optimize transportation routes, modes, and costs.
  • Monitor transportation and distribution KPIs.
  • Analyze operational data and report performance trends.
  • Lead logistics team, provide coaching, and foster team development.
  • Identify training needs and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 10 years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain operations, preferably in multinational or large-scale FMCG environments.
  • Required Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
    • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Transportation Management Systems).
    • Understanding of transportation modes and regulations.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
