Position: Logistics Operation Manager
Job Summary:
The Logistics Operation Manager will manage end-to-end logistics operations across multiple company locations. This includes strategizing, planning, and optimizing transportation, distribution, and fuel inventory management to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior management to align logistics with business goals.
- Coordinate logistics across multiple locations/business units.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
- Optimize transportation routes, modes, and costs.
- Monitor transportation and distribution KPIs.
- Analyze operational data and report performance trends.
- Lead logistics team, provide coaching, and foster team development.
- Identify training needs and conduct performance evaluations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields. - Experience:
Minimum 10 years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain operations, preferably in multinational or large-scale FMCG environments. - Required Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Transportation Management Systems).
- Understanding of transportation modes and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership and team management abilities.
