🔹 Position: Logistics and Supply Chain Officer
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize inventory levels and reduce operational costs
- Source suppliers and negotiate contracts for best value
- Coordinate and monitor transportation logistics for timely deliveries
- Track logistics data and generate reports
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest supply chain improvements
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
- Manage risks within the supply chain process
- Handle import order processing, clearance, and ESW portal tasks
🧠 About You
📚 Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a logistics/supply chain role
💼 Skills Required:
- Solid knowledge of logistics principles (inventory, transportation, warehousing)
- Familiarity with import shipment procedures and the Ethiopian Single Window (ESW) portal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience using logistics or ERP software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
