Hope for Justice, formerly Retrak Ethiopia, is seeking qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following position:


Position: Junior Intern (3 Months)

  • Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Number of Positions: 2

Job Summary:

The Junior Intern will support the Finance department by assisting with various tasks and gaining practical experience. This position is ideal for recent graduates looking to develop their skills in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Support:
  • Organize and maintain financial documents.
  • Scan financial documents.
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of reports for audits.
  • Data Entry:
  • Enter financial data into the accounting system (Business Central).
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Assist the finance team in compiling monthly reports and summaries.
  • Support Finance Team:
  • Assist with departmental tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Recent graduate with a BA in Accounting or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Basic understanding of financial principles.
  • Proficient with computers and electronic devices, including scanners.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Language:
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, including report writing and presentations.

Working Conditions:

  • The intern will be expected to work Monday to Friday, [Specify working hours, e.g., 8 AM – 5 PM].
