1. General Service Officer

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: Human Resource Management Head

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and oversee the general maintenance of company buildings, offices, and factory premises.
  • Ensure timely repair and upkeep of physical assets including plumbing, electrical systems, furniture, fixtures, and minor infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain and update the asset register; ensure all assets are well-documented, labeled, and tracked.
  • Follow up on equipment servicing schedules and warranty claims.
  • Coordinate and supervise light maintenance tasks and repairs, either internally or through external service providers.
  • Handle follow-ups on utility payments (e.g., internet, telephone, water, electricity) to prevent service interruptions.
  • Manage and follow up on vehicle or equipment insurance coverage and timely renewals.
  • Support procurement and logistical needs for maintenance materials and supplies.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on asset status, maintenance activities, and service costs.
  • Support in setting up new office/workshop spaces and shifting equipment or furniture when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Management, HRM, or a related field.
  • Experience & Skills: Minimum of 2 years of experience in property or facilities management. Strong organizational and communication abilities. Basic computer knowledge, including Excel and Word.

2. Personnel Officer

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: Human Resource Management Head

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the recruitment of employees.
  • Assist in employee onboarding, orientation, and documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR documentation accurately and confidentially.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and internal procedures.
  • Support payroll processing with timely and accurate employee data updates (e.g., attendance, leave, and personal info changes).
  • Handle employment contracts, renewals, promotions, and transfers.
  • Assist with staff performance evaluations and tracking probationary periods.
  • Respond to employee queries and requests regarding HR issues.
  • Coordinate staff leave schedules and ensure proper documentation.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and assist with audits when required.
  • Support the HR Manager in implementing strategic HR projects and initiatives.
  • Supervise junior personnel staff or clerks under the section.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, HRM, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience & Skills: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources as a Personnel Officer. Strong organizational and communication abilities. Basic computer knowledge, including Excel and Word.

Required Skill: Effective communication and sociability.


3. Production Quality Control Officer

Department: Production

Reports To: Factory Manager

Main Purpose: Ensure foam products meet quality standards through testing and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process foam, and finished products.
  • Conduct density, hardness, compression set, tensile, and elongation tests.
  • Monitor color, consistency, and dimensions of foam blocks/sheets.
  • Supervise foam production parameters (e.g., TDI/Polyol ratios, temperature, and rise time).
  • Ensure correct usage of fillers, blowing agents, and additives.
  • Identify deviations and advise corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality control records and daily quality logs.
  • Prepare inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCR).
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
  • Identify and quarantine defective products.
  • Recommend and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the production line.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 2–3 years in foam/manufacturing.

4. Mechanic

Department: Technic Head

Reports To: Senior Mechanic

Main Purpose: Maintain and repair foam machinery to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines.
  • Ensure all moving parts are properly lubricated and functioning.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns in foam processing equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective parts such as bearings, gears, belts, shafts, and valves.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, breakdown reports, and parts used.
  • Fill out maintenance checklists and logbooks regularly.
  • Collaborate with the production and quality departments to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
  • Report recurring issues to the maintenance manager for long-term solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Mechanical Engineering or General Mechanics maintenance.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in manufacturing maintenance.

5. Junior Mechanic

Department: Technic Head

Reports To: Senior Mechanic

Main Purpose: Assist in machine maintenance while learning mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with repairs.
  • Support machine inspections.
  • Monitor operations and report faults.
  • Keep tools and area clean.

Qualifications:

  • Education: TVET Level III Certificate in Mechanics.
  • Experience: 3 years.

Required Skill: Strategic planning.


6. Electrician

Department: Technic Head

Reports To: Senior Electrician

Main Purpose: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures for foam production equipment, lighting, and control systems.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical machines.
  • Identify faults and carry out repairs on motors, panels, relays, switches, and other electrical components.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with power supply, control circuits, and automation systems.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Report major electrical faults and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with mechanics and production teams for machine setup and adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Electrical Engineering or Diploma or TVET Level III/IV in Electricity.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in industrial electrical work.

Required Skill: Strategic Management.


7. Safety Officer

Department: Factory Manager

Reports To: Factory Manager

Main Purpose: Maintain a safe workplace and ensure legal safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily safety inspections of foam production areas (mixing, cutting, storage, etc.).
  • Recommend control measures to reduce workplace hazards.
  • Monitor handling and storage of hazardous chemicals to prevent fire, explosion, or exposure.
  • Organize safety training sessions, fire drills, and emergency response simulations.
  • Educate staff on safe handling of materials, first aid, and accident prevention.
  • Post safety signs, posters, and emergency procedures visibly around the factory.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, or near-misses.
  • Identify root causes and propose preventive actions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management and relevant authorities.
  • Ensure fire extinguishers and first aid kits are available and functional.
  • Develop and update factory emergency response plans.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in OH&S or related field.
  • Experience: 2–3 years in industrial safety (preferably foam/chemical industry).
