๐ Position Summary:
Lead the implementation and management of the FARM project to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of results. Supervise and support the FARM project team, coordinate with stakeholders, manage budgets, procurement, reporting, risk mitigation, and ensure compliance with environmental, social, and gender action plans.
๐ฏ Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate FARM project implementation and stakeholder communication
- Lead regional activities and supervise project personnel
- Manage budgets, procurement, contracts, and logistics
- Monitor project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with Environmental and Social Management Plan and Gender Action Plan
- Support strategic dialogues among government, donors, and partners
- Lead knowledge management and advocacy activities
- Prepare and submit regular progress and financial reports
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, meetings, and capacity building
๐ Qualifications:
- Masterโs degree or higher in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Science, Rural Development, Project Management, or Natural Resource Management
๐ผ Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience including at least 5 years leading large-scale development projects/programs in international organizations
- Experience managing multi-dimensional teams and complex programs
- Analytical skills in livelihoods and farming systems
- Knowledge of Ethiopian economy and Northern Ethiopia context preferred
- Experience in agroecology, emergency/rehabilitation projects, agricultural research system, or Participatory Guarantee Scheme (PGS) is a plus
