Job Summary
This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a professional finance environment. The Junior Intern will support the Finance Department with documentation, reporting, and organizational tasks. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop practical skills and contribute to meaningful work in the fight against exploitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Documentation Support
- Organize and maintain financial documents
- Scan and store financial documents
- Assist in the preparation and filing of reports for audit
- Support in the execution of other assigned tasks within the department
- General Support
- Comply with Hope for Justice’s Safeguarding Policies
- Act responsibly to protect the wellbeing of vulnerable individuals
- Report any safeguarding concerns appropriately
Educational Requirements
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
Required Skills and Competencies
- Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
- Strong skills in document scanning and data storage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication
- Commitment to continuous learning
