πΉ Position 1: Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) Officer
- π Location: Tehuledere, South Wollo, Amhara Region
- π Contract Type: 6 months (possible extension)

- π§ Child Safeguarding Level: 3 (high level of child contact)
π― Role Purpose:
Implement and monitor FSL activities, ensure proper beneficiary selection, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders and partners.
β Key Responsibilities:
- Implement day-to-day FSL activities
- Conduct beneficiary targeting and selection
- Provide technical support to communities and partners
- Monitor activities and provide regular reports
- Ensure compliance with child protection and SCI standards
- Contribute to strategic planning, reviews, and learning documentation
π Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in: Agriculture, Rural Development, Economics, or related
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in FSL, NRM, DRR, or emergency responses
- Skills Required:
- Cash transfer and food security modalities
- Report writing and documentation
- Community mobilization
- Communication in Amharic and local languages
π Preferred:
- Experience in international NGOs
- Knowledge of local context and language
- Strong planning and interpersonal skills

πΉ Position 2: Finance Assistant
- π Location: Dessie
- π Contract Type: 12 months
- π Grade: 6
- π§ Child Safeguarding Level: 2 (access to childrenβs data)
π― Role Purpose:
Handle disbursements, financial documentation, reporting, and cash handling tasks, and support day-to-day financial operations.
β Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payments, petty cash, and travel advances
- Maintain updated records and documentation
- Ensure proper coding and data entry into accounting systems
- Conduct regular cash counts and bank reconciliations
- Support financial audits and documentation archiving
π Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in: Accounting, Business Administration, Banking, or Finance
- Experience:
- 2 years (for Diploma) or 1 year (for Degree)
- NGO experience preferred
πΌ Skills Required:
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Understanding of NGO financial systems
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Amharic
- Ability to travel and work under pressure
