πΌ Job Summary: Branch Manager βDβ
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of branch operations, including portfolio growth, staff supervision, financial and operational compliance, and client relationship management.
π Key Responsibilities
π Portfolio Management
- Ensure the quality and growth of the loan portfolio.
- Verify clients’ existence and creditworthiness.
- Lead the Branch Credit Committee (BCC).
- Manage savings and withdrawals as per policy.
- Identify growth areas for disbursement.
π₯ Staff Management
- Supervise and coordinate branch staff.
- Plan staffing needs and recruit qualified personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations and staff development.
- Oversee the economical use and servicing of materials and resources.
ποΈ Branch Operations & Compliance
- Enforce policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Make decisions on financial and operational matters within institutional guidelines.
π Reporting & Communication
- Balance and reconcile all records.
- Collaborate with senior management and peers.
- Participate in branch managersβ quarterly meetings.
π Planning & Integration
- Develop annual work and business plans.
- Adjust targets and plans as needed.
π£ Marketing & Promotion
- Promote loans, savings, and other services.
- Initiate branch-level promotional campaigns.
π Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education:
- University Degree/Diploma in:
Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Banking, Marketing, Cooperative Studies, Agricultural Economics, Agriculture, or other related business/social sciences.
- University Degree/Diploma in:
- Experience:
- 4 years for Degree holders
- 6 years for Diploma holders
- Competencies:
- Strong leadership, initiative, and integrity
- Financial planning and basic accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and team management
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Motor bicycle driving skill and valid license is mandatory
