Ticket Officer (Remote & Office-Based)

📍 Location: Remote (first 6 months), then full-time in-office

✨ Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ticket Officer with at least 2 years of travel industry experience. You will issue and manage domestic and international flight tickets, handle group bookings, and negotiate with airlines to secure the best deals for our clients.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✅ Issue and manage domestic and international flight tickets using GDS systems
✅ Handle group ticketing requests and coordinate related logistics
✅ Negotiate with airline sales managers for competitive fares
✅ Provide fare quotations, process ticket changes, reissues, cancellations, and refunds
✅ Coordinate with airlines and partners to ensure smooth service delivery
✅ Support customers with itinerary planning and travel-related inquiries
✅ Be flexible and available after hours when needed

🛠️ About You – Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a ticketing role within the travel industry
Strong command of GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo preferred)
Excellent communication skills in English, Amharic, and basic Oromifa
Proven negotiation skills with airlines
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to service excellence
Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
Ambitious, self-driven, and eager to grow within a supportive team
