Position: Sales System Analyst & Support (Junior)
- Scope of Role: As a Junior Sales System Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for our sales team members experiencing issues with our sales systems (primarily SFA and related tools). You will be responsible for troubleshooting problems, providing guidance, conducting training, and maintaining the integrity of our technology infrastructure that empowers our sales force.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support for sales-related systems, including our SFA and other sales enablement tools (e.g., sales engagement platforms, proposal generators).
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement timely solutions or escalate to senior team members/relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Assist in user account management, including creating, modifying, and deactivating user profiles, managing permissions, and ensuring data security.
- Develop and maintain clear, concise user documentation, training materials, and frequently asked questions (FAQs) for sales systems.
- Conduct engaging training sessions for new hires and existing sales team members on system functionality, best practices, and new features.
- Gather feedback from sales users to identify system pain points and opportunities for improvement in user experience and efficiency.
- Assist in testing new system features, updates, integrations, and configurations to ensure smooth deployment and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with the relevant teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement system enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues or areas for optimization.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales data and provide initial interpretations and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant, timely insights.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity and developing best practices for data management within our sales systems.
- Contribute to the automation of reporting processes where possible.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a system support, help desk, or sales operations role (internship experience is a plus).
- Skills:
- Familiarity with SFA systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho SFA) is highly desirable.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical approach to troubleshooting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently to non-technical users.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
- Experience providing training or creating training materials.
- Understanding of basic sales processes and methodologies.
- Experience with a ticketing system for managing support requests.
