Through our partnership with the Ethiopian Ministry of Labor and Skills (MoLS), we leverage technology to foster financial inclusion. We are currently seeking a motivated fresh graduate to join our finance team.
Position: Junior Disbursement Accountant
Role Overview: This is an entry-level position ideal for fresh graduates eager to launch a career in digital finance and accounting. You will play a vital role in processing disbursements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the financial integrity of our operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 0 years (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
- Location: Addis Ababa (Office-based).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Assist in the accurate and timely processing of disbursement requests.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial documentation and digital records.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities align with internal financial policies and external microfinance regulations.
- Coordination: Work with various departments to verify and validate disbursement data.
- Reporting & Audits: Support the preparation of financial reports and provide documentation for internal/external audits.
- Discrepancy Tracking: Monitor transactions to identify and resolve any financial discrepancies.

- Technical: Proficient in MS Office suite; adept at learning new financial software quickly.
- Ethical Standards: High integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of financial data.
