Digaf Microcredit Provider S.C. is a tech-based microfinance institution dedicated to providing affordable digital loan products to low- and medium-income individuals. Through our partnership with the Ethiopian Ministry of Labor and Skills (MoLS), we leverage technology to foster financial inclusion. We are currently seeking a motivated fresh graduate to join our finance team.


Position: Junior Disbursement Accountant

Role Overview: This is an entry-level position ideal for fresh graduates eager to launch a career in digital finance and accounting. You will play a vital role in processing disbursements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the financial integrity of our operations.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0 years (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
  • Location: Addis Ababa (Office-based).
  • Employment Type: Full-time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Processing: Assist in the accurate and timely processing of disbursement requests.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial documentation and digital records.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities align with internal financial policies and external microfinance regulations.
  • Coordination: Work with various departments to verify and validate disbursement data.
  • Reporting & Audits: Support the preparation of financial reports and provide documentation for internal/external audits.
  • Discrepancy Tracking: Monitor transactions to identify and resolve any financial discrepancies.

  • Technical: Proficient in MS Office suite; adept at learning new financial software quickly.
