
Tamra for Social Development Organization (TSD) is an indigenous youth-oriented civil society organization with over 25 years of experience in community development programs across Oromia, Addis Ababa, and Sidama. We are currently seeking a reliable individual to join our Hawassa team.
Position: Cashier & Storekeeper (Maternity Cover)
Role Summary: This is a dual-responsibility position focused on professional financial cash handling and efficient inventory management. The role is designed to ensure the continuous smooth operation of our Hawassa office during a staff member’s maternity leave.
- Location: Hawassa Area Office
- Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Accounting or a related field (Mandatory).
- Experience: 0 years of experience (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Technical Skills: Strong computer knowledge is required, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems.
- Attributes: High level of integrity, professional demeanor, and sharp attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial cash handling and transactions.
- Oversee secondary responsibilities in inventory and store management.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for both financial and logistical operations.
- Maintain the security and organization of the office store and assets.
