Axon Stroke & Spine Center is Ethiopia’s first and most comprehensive stroke treatment and neurological rehabilitation facility. The center integrates advanced medical technology with specialized clinical care. To support its medical operations, the center is looking for qualified, precise, and motivated professionals to fill three positions within its finance team in Addis Ababa.

Open Finance Positions & Requirements

1. Cashier

• Location: Wosen, Addis Ababa
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Accounting from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 1+ years of active experience.
• Preferred Background: Prior experience handling financial transactions inside the medical or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
• Core Competencies: Strong numerical and interpersonal communication skills; basic knowledge of baseline accounting principles; high proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office) and an energetic customer service attitude suitable for a fast-paced healthcare environment.

2. Accountant

• Location: Wosen, Addis Ababa
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant professional work experience.
• Core Competencies: Strong, active working knowledge of foundational accounting principles and Ethiopian tax regulations. Technical proficiency using automated accounting software packages (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, or similar platforms) along with strong data analytical skills.

3. Senior Accountant

• Location: Wosen, Addis Ababa
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Advantage: Active CPA or ACCA qualifications are a major plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Preferred Background: Direct background working inside a healthcare facility, clinical center, or service-related corporate industry.
• Core Competencies: Extensive mastery of local Ethiopian tax laws, corporate financial reporting standards, and advanced Microsoft Excel models. Proven ability to manage financial systems (Peachtree, QuickBooks, or ERPs) and solve complex accounting discrepancies independently.
