Open Tiers & Technical Requirements
1. Senior Finance Officer
- Place of Work: Addis Ababa
- Educational Level & Experience:
- MBA or MA in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or related fields with a minimum of 3.5 years of relevant experience; OR
- BA in the same fields of study with a minimum of 5.5 years of relevant experience.
- Additional Mandate: Candidates must possess a strong background in relevant fields, preferably within the banking industry, including a minimum of 2 years served strictly in a relevant officer position.
- Core Essential Functions:
- Review all internal financial transactions to maintain accuracy, authorization, and total compliance.
- Lead the calculation, processing, and distribution of corporate payroll and employee benefits while managing compliance with tax, pension, and labor laws.
- Prepare, review, and analyze consolidated financial reports, ledger statements, and account reconciliations for timely submission to management and the Central Bank.
- Facilitate and support internal and external audit processes and authorize daily financial transactions.
- Monitor and control structural risks associated with financial mismatches, delays, or accounting errors.
- Salary: As per the Bank’s competitive scale.
2. Senior Customer Service Specialist
- Place of Work: Shakiso Branch
- Educational Level & Experience:
- BA in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Management, Economics, Marketing Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in core banking operations, of which at least 6 months must have been served directly in a Customer Service Specialist (CSS) position.
- Core Essential Functions:
- Assist and absorb the daily duties of the Cash Administrator and Branch Account Administrator during absences or official delegations.
- Assist front-line Customer Service Specialists with handling, verifying, and counting bulk cash deposits and withdrawals.
- Initiate secure cash transfers, process physical cash handovers to and from the Cash Administrator, and run daily balance checks against the physical vault.
- Salary: As per the Bank’s competitive scale.
