International Clinical Laboratories (ICL): Vacancy Announcement

International Clinical Laboratories (ICL), an independent clinical diagnostic center in Africa and the only laboratory in Ethiopia accredited by the USA-based Joint Commission International (JCI) for five consecutive terms, is seeking qualified professionals to fill two distinct operational roles at its Addis Ababa facilities.

Open Positions & Requirements

1. Receptionist / Clerk

• Location: Addis Ababa (AA1)
• Education: Degree in Health Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of dedicated experience working in a reception area or front-desk customer service role.
• Core Competencies: Proven track record in effective client communication and hospitality; ability to converse fluently and professionally in both Amharic and English.
• Salary: As per the company scale.

2. Specimen Collection Technician

• Location: Addis Ababa
• Education: College Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid, renewed professional license from the relevant health bureau.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active clinical work experience.
• Core Competencies: Highly competent phlebotomy and blood/specimen sample collection skills. Strong time management, active listening, and localized communication skills. Fluency in Amharic and English is required (proficiency in other local languages is a distinct advantage).
• Salary: As per the company scale.
