Omo Bank Job Vacancy Announcement

Omo Microfinance has officially transitioned into a full commercial bank, following similar structural moves by the Amhara and Oromia savings & credit institutions. Historically one of the five largest microfinance institutions in Ethiopia alongside Amhara, Oromia, Addis, and Dedebit, Omo holds a significant share of the domestic financial market.

The bank is currently inviting interested and qualified applicants to fill several open positions at its Head Office.

Open Positions & Requirements

All listed positions offer salaries and benefits provided in accordance with the Bank’s official salary scale and benefits package. The place of work for all positions is the Head Office.

1. Procurement Officer I

Educational Qualification: BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Procurement & Supply Management, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field.
Work Experience: 2 years of general related work experience.

2. Underwriting Officer II

Educational Qualification: MA or BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of studies.
Work Experience: 2 years of experience for MA holders or 3 years for BA holders in related banking work.

3. Underwriting Officer I

Educational Qualification: BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of studies.
Work Experience: 2 years of relevant banking work experience.

4. KYC & Account Opening Officer I

Educational Qualification: BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of studies.
Work Experience: 2 years of relevant banking work experience.

5. KYC & Account Opening Officer II

Educational Qualification: MA or BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of studies.
Work Experience: 2 years of experience for MA holders or 3 years for BA holders in relevant banking work.

6. Credit Information & Reporting Officer I

Educational Qualification: BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of studies.
Work Experience: 2 years of relevant banking work experience.

7. Risk Review Officer I

Educational Qualification: BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of studies.
Work Experience: 2 years of related banking work experience.

8. Risk Review Officer II

Educational Qualification: MA or BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of studies.
Work Experience: 2 years of experience for MA holders or 3 years for BA holders in related banking work.

9. Driver II

Educational Qualification: Secondary school completion paired with a valid Automobile Driving License.
Work Experience: 3 years of relevant banking work experience.
