AddisFly Vacancy Announcement

AddisFly is a fast-growing, IATA-accredited travel agency based in Addis Ababa, offering global flight ticketing, visa consulting, and curated travel packages. The company combines a robust digital presence with personalized customer service to deliver seamless travel solutions for individual travelers, labor travel networks, and corporate accounts.

The Marketing & Business Development Department is currently seeking a hands-on, execution-driven Digital Marketer to lead its digital footprint and content creation.

Position Overview

  • Job Title: Digital Marketer

  • Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Core Mandate: This is an active, hands-on role. The candidate is expected to not only manage strategy but also directly create the underlying visual and video assets needed for lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Management & Lead Generation

  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, email marketing, and alternative digital networks.
  • Drive targeted lead generation campaigns designed to increase direct customer inquiries, flight bookings, and conversion metrics.
  • Design specific promotional campaigns tailored to unique business segments, including walk-in clients, labor travel, corporate accounts, non-IATA sub-agents, and airline partner promotions.

2. Content Creation & Brand Strategy

  • Actively produce and publish fresh digital content, including graphics, short-form marketing videos, compelling captions, and collateral materials.
  • Develop a structured content strategy to ensure sustained growth across audience channels while aligning completely with company brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader sales and creative teams to ensure marketing initiatives map directly to immediate monthly sales targets.

3. Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Monitor campaign performance daily, analyzing metrics like reach, audience engagement, conversion velocity, cost-per-lead, and overall return on investment (ROI).
  • Use data-driven insights to refine target parameters, test ad creatives, and maximize the efficiency of the marketing budget.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree OR a verified professional certification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: Proven professional experience in digital marketing. Prior marketing exposure within the travel, airline, hospitality, or service industry is highly valued.

Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Ad Stack Mastery: Strong, actionable knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads setup, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and email nurturing workflows.
  • Content Creation Tools: Practical proficiency with design and multimedia tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator), CapCut, or equivalent video editing platforms.
  • Analytical Background: Strong baseline analytical skills with the ability to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and synthesize performance data into executive reports.
  • Execution Mindset: Exceptional communication, teamwork, and project ownership skills—focused entirely on generating tangible business results, not just concepts.
