Open Positions & Specifications
1. Principal District Banking Business Officer
- Place of Work: West District (Jimma)
- Education: MA or BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
- Work Experience: * Minimum of 3 years of banking operations experience for MA holders.
- Minimum of 5 years of banking operations experience for BA holders.
- Mandatory: At least 2 years of experience must be at a Senior Officer level within branch banking operations.
- Core Competencies: Strong team coaching, mentoring, and internal control tracking. High coordination, problem-solving capabilities, and a practical operational knowledge of core banking applications.
2. Senior District Banking Business Officer
- Place of Work: West District (Jimma)
- Education: BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 4 years of banking operations experience, with at least 2 years explicitly served as a Senior Officer/Officer within branch banking environments.
- Core Competencies: Effective workplace communication, facilitation, structured internal control workflows, and familiarity with core banking applications.
3. Banking Business Officer I
- Place of Work: Agena Branch
- Education: BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of branch banking experience, with at least 1 year served as a Junior Officer.
- Special Advantage: Prior theoretical or practical knowledge of Interest-Free Banking (IFB) mechanisms is highly advantageous.
Universal Skills Required Across All Roles:
- Technical Stack: High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher).
