Oromia Bank S.C. is an agile, rapidly growing financial institution in Ethiopia. Known for its retail banking expansion and digital transformation strategies, the bank is seeking to recruit competent, highly motivated external talent for three (3) distinct professional openings at its central headquarters.
Department: Information Security Operations
Location: Head Office (Addis Ababa)
Education: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field of study from a recognized university.
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of relevant hands-on cyber security experience.
Preferred Certifications: Holding a valid Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (v13) certificate with practical hands-on experience in security testing and an official certificate of accomplishment is highly preferred.
Technical & System Competencies:
Direct mastery of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, specifically Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response for enterprise threat hunting, risk identification, and remediation.
Comprehensive exposure managing Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) systems.
Solid administrative proficiency within Privileged Access Management (PAM) environments and multi-factor/Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) systems.
Department: Office of the Board of Directors / Company Secretary
Location: Head Office (Addis Ababa)
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Law, Banking & Finance, Accounting & Finance, Management, Economics, or Business Administration.
Experience Required: * 8 years of relevant corporate experience for Bachelor’s degree holders, OR
7 years of relevant corporate experience for Master’s degree holders.
Mandatory Threshold: At least 2 years of experience serving in explicit supervisory or team leadership roles.
Functional Focus Areas: Shareholder relations management, statutory corporate record upkeep, and providing administrative and legal support to the Board of Directors & associated Executive Committees.
Department: Procurement and Facility Department
Location: Head Office (Addis Ababa)
Education & Licensing: Completion of Grade 10 paired with a valid 3rd-degree driving license.
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience operating commercial or corporate passenger vehicles.
Technical Mandate: Safe operation of motor vehicles, performing routine, timely vehicle status health checks, deep knowledge of national traffic regulations, and the capacity to execute minor mechanical repairs on the fly.
