Open Positions & Specific Eligibility Criteria

Aggar Microfinance S.C enforces an absolute structural vetting framework. All applicants must present written verification of past experiences during profile registration.

1. Auditor

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or College Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a directly relevant business field.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience for BA Degree holders OR six (6) years of experience for Diploma holders.
  • Core Competencies: Practical knowledge of microfinance business structures, advanced auditing methodologies, financial analysis capabilities, and strong narrative report-writing skills. Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel).
  • Duty Station: Head Office (Addis Ababa)

2. Branch Accountant

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or College Diploma in Accounting, Banking, or Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience for BA Degree holders OR eight (8) years of experience for Diploma holders.
  • Core Competencies: Deep understanding of foundational accounting concepts, principles, and day-to-day microfinance operations. Well-versed in Ethiopian government financial laws and reporting standards. Ability to prepare comprehensive financial statements with basic functional knowledge of IFRS and computer applications.
  • Required Quantity: 5 positions
  • Duty Stations: Wolkite, Hossana, and Addis Ababa Branches

3. Branch Cashier

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or College Diploma in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: Zero (0) to two (2) years of active experience (Fresh Graduates Welcomed and Encouraged to Apply).
  • Core Competencies: Foundational knowledge of microfinance business records, secure handling and management of cash vault operations, and payment instruments. Exceptional customer service skills and proficiency operating standard office and computer machines.
  • Required Quantity: 3 positions
  • Duty Stations: Wolkite, Hossana, and Addis Ababa Branches
