Open Positions & Specific Eligibility Criteria

1. Junior Datacenter Attendant

  • Core Functions: Monitor datacenter and Disaster Recovery (DR) hardware/facility systems; assist in baseline routine installation, labeling, upgrading, or decommissioning of cables and equipment; report security incidents to management.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
  • Graduation Class Criteria: Open strictly to graduates of the years 2024 & 2025 G.C. with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
  • Experience: Zero (0) years required (Fresh Graduates Only).
  • Additional Mandates: Must have successfully passed the national higher education Exit Exam. Age threshold must be 30 years old or younger.
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa

2. Junior Attorney

  • Core Functions: Render legal advice to branches; prepare statements of claim, defense, declarations for affidavit, and legal notices; serve court summons/foreclosure notices; represent the bank in court litigations, hearings, and judicial investigations.
  • Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree in Law.
  • Graduation Class Criteria: Open strictly to graduates of the years 2024 & 2025 G.C.
  • Experience: Zero (0) years required (Fresh Graduates Only).
  • Additional Mandates: Must have successfully passed the national higher education Exit Exam. Age threshold must be 30 years old or younger.
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa

3. Senior Attorney

  • Core Functions: Oversee complex litigation; prepare complex pleadings and memorandum of appeal; initiate processes for execution of judgments; examine files of defaulting borrowers and issue legal notices to borrowers, mortgagors, and pledgors.
  • Education: Degree in Law (LLB) or related disciplines.
  • Experience: Minimum of five and a half (5.5) years of experience in legal functions, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa

4. Associate Loan Officer II

  • Core Functions: Assist in gathering and verifying documentation for loan applications (income statements, credit histories, etc.); communicate processing steps to customers; conduct initial compliance reviews; track loan statuses and timelines.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or related business fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in banking operations, of which at least two (2) years must be served explicitly as an Associate Loan Officer I.
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa

5. Treasury Officer

  • Core Functions: Process treasury bills, government bonds, and investment transactions; monitor daily reconciliation of treasury accounts and ESX settlements; analyze interest rate developments and price trends; prepare daily liquidity position reports.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA), MBA, or Master’s Degree (MA) in Accounting & Finance, Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of three and a half (3.5) years of relevant experience, preferably within the commercial banking industry.
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa

6. Manager, Capital Market and Investor Relations Division

  • Core Functions: Develop capital market strategies and identify funding opportunities; lead execution of bond issuance programs (including thematic Gender Bonds); manage relations with institutional investors, regulators, and development finance institutions; ensure compliance with capital market laws and National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) directives.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA), MBA, or Master’s Degree (MA) in Accounting & Finance, Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of seven and a half (7.5) to nine and a half (9.5) years of relevant financial experience within the commercial banking industry.
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa
