Open Positions
1. Branch Manager I
- Duty Stations: Assela, Nekemte, Gimbi, Yabu, Bichena, Wolaita Sodo, Ginir, Sagure, Gubre, Delomena, Chora, Metu
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of banking experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role (e.g., Assistant Branch Manager, Customer Service Manager, or Customer Service Supervisor).
- Key Responsibilities: Manage branch performance, operations, risk compliance (AML/KYC), financial budgeting, cash levels, and local marketing strategies while promoting Interest-Free Banking values.
2. Senior Banking Business Officer
- Duty Stations: Nekemte, Gimbi, Yabu, Bichena, Wolaita Sodo, Ginir, Sagure, Gubre, Arbaminch, Delomena, Chora, Metu, Dima-Gambella
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
- Work Experience: Minimum 3 years in banking, with at least 2 years at officer level in a similar role.
- Key Responsibilities: Authorize transactions within risk appetite, countersign transaction tickets, oversee dual-control vault access and end-of-day cash balancing, and facilitate resource mobilization.
3. Banking Business Officer I
- Duty Stations: Nekemte, Gimbi, Yabu, Bichena, Wolaita Sodo, Ginir, Sagure, Gubre, Arbaminch, Delomena, Chora, Metu, Dima-Gambella
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of branch banking experience, with at least 1 year as a Junior Officer. Understanding of Interest-Free Banking is an added advantage.
- Key Responsibilities: Handle cash and non-cash transactions, process account openings/digital banking setups, perform daily ticket reconciliation, and drive deposit uptake.
4. Branch Manager
- Duty Stations: Harar & Dire Dawa
- Education Requirement: BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or business-related fields.
- Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of banking operations experience, with at least 2 years as a Senior Officer, Customer Service Manager, or equivalent branch role.
- Key Skills: Knowledge of local languages and Interest-Free Banking principles is advantageous.
5. District Financing Appraisal Officer II
- Duty Station: Dire Dawa
- Education Requirement: BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or business-related fields.
- Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of banking experience, with at least 1 year as Officer I in financing/credit areas.
6. Digital Marketing Officer I
- Duty Station: Head Office (Addis Ababa)
- Education Requirement: BA Degree in Marketing, Management, Accounting, or business-related fields.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of banking experience, with at least 1 year as an Officer in a marketing capacity.
