Open Positions & Specifications

1. Internal Audit Officer

  • Industry: Investment Banking / Financial Services
  • Location / Duty Station: Addis Ababa
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary as per the company scale
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
    • Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Professional Certifications: Certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA is an added advantage.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive audit experience, preferably within investment banking, capital markets, or financial services.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), national regulatory standards, and risk-based auditing methodologies.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Deep understanding of capital markets, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks.
    • Proficiency in audit tools, data analysis techniques, and financial reporting.
    • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously.

2. Research, Planning and Monitoring Officer

  • Industry: Investment Banking / Financial Services
  • Location / Duty Station: Addis Ababa
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary as per the company scale
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Accounting, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in research, strategic planning, performance monitoring, or business analytics, preferably in financial services or investment banking.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in economic, financial, and capital market analysis, as well as thorough knowledge of Ethiopia’s capital market regulatory environment.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent research, analytical, technical report writing, and presentation skills.
    • Practical understanding of performance management frameworks, KPIs, and corporate analytics.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI or other analytics software is an advantage.
    • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary departments.
    • High attention to detail, accountability, and ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently.
