Sourcing premium Arabica coffee from Yirgacheffe, Lekempti, Gimbi, Djimma, and Sidamo, Kerchanshe supports the livelihoods of over 1 million coffee growers and employs more than 1,250 permanent and 10,000 seasonal staff.

Position 1: Head, Customs Clearance (Re-Advertisement)

Job Purpose:
Lead and coordinate customs clearance activities by reviewing and evaluating operation plans, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

Education: BA or MA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Management, or related fields.
Certification: Customs Clearance Competency Certification is mandatory.

Experience:

Minimum 8 years for BA holders
Minimum 6 years for MA holders
Experience as an Assessor in logistics or customs is mandatory.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of import/export laws and regulations
Familiarity with international trade documentation, Incoterms, and L/C
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Strong planning, scheduling, and time management skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
Problem-solving and conflict management skills

Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Planning & Programming Head

Job Purpose:
Oversee planning, scheduling, and coordination of farm operations to ensure efficient resource utilization and achievement of production targets aligned with strategic goals.

Job Requirements:

Education: BSc or MSc in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Economics, Statistics, Agronomy, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience:
- 6 years for BSc holders
- 4 years for MSc holders
Proven experience in planning and scheduling in integrated farming systems

Key Competencies:

Strategic thinking and problem-solving
Knowledge of agricultural practices and supply chain management
Proficiency in data analysis and farm management software
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Working Conditions:

On-site role in Guangua (Dilla area)
Occasional travel and extended hours during peak seasons
