About the Institution

Meklit Microfinance Institution S.C. is a transformed Commercial Microfinance Institution, initially established under Proclamation No. 40/96 and recently revised under Proclamation No. 626/2009 issued by the National Bank of Ethiopia. The institution provides financial and non-financial services to medium, small enterprises and low-income communities, particularly women, across both urban and rural areas of Ethiopia.

Requirements

Education:

• BA Degree or Diploma in Marketing Management, Economics, or Management.

Experience:

• 2 years for BA Degree holders
• 4 years for Diploma holders

Technical and Other Skills:

• Firm belief in teamwork
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to interact and work effectively with others at all levels
• Demonstrated technical ability and good conceptual understanding of participatory approach and sustainable development

Required Competencies:

• Creative thinking
• Teamwork
