Awash Bank invites competent and qualified candidates to apply for the following vacant positions:


1. Branch Manager โ€“ Class IV Branch

๐Ÿ“ Place of Work: Jimma Wifaq IFB Branch โ€“ Jimma Town (V. No HO/02993/25)

Qualification & Experience:

  • BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant banking experience, of which 3 years in a supervisory position.

Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling branch operations. Ensures compliance with procedures, leads sales and customer service initiatives, and guides operational excellence. Prepares budgets, operational plans, and progress reports.


2. Principal โ€“ Strategic Customer Recruitment Officer

๐Ÿ“ Place of Work: Addis Ababa (V. No HO/02994/25)

Qualification & Experience:

  • BA Degree in Social Sciences or Business (preferably Communications, Public Relations/Journalism).
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience.
  • Professional courses in Marketing (advantage).
  • Masterโ€™s in a Business-related field (advantage).

Job Summary:
Studies and executes customer recruitment strategies, ensuring satisfaction and growth of customer base. Develops acquisition strategies, identifies opportunities, and recommends initiatives aligned with business targets.


3. Senior โ€“ Quantity Surveyor

๐Ÿ“ Place of Work: Addis Ababa (V. No HO/03010/25)

Qualification & Experience:

  • BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 7 yearsโ€™ experience in quantity surveying/cost consulting (preferably in building construction projects).
  • Professional membership/certification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.

Job Summary:
Manages project costs from initial estimates to final figures, ensuring completion within budget. Works with architects, engineers, and consultants on cost management, contract negotiation, procurement, and profitability of projects.


4. Strategy Implementation and Follow-up Officer

Qualification & Experience:

  • BA Degree in a Business-related field.
  • Minimum of 3 yearsโ€™ relevant experience.
  • Professional courses in related fields (advantage).

Job Summary:
Implements and follows up on corporate strategy initiatives. Supports execution of strategic plans and ensures the Bankโ€™s objectives are achieved successfully.


5. Transformation Projects Management Officer

Qualification & Experience:

  • BA Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 4 yearsโ€™ experience in Project Management.
  • Professional courses in project management (advantage).

Job Summary:
Supports transformational projects from initiation to completion. Coordinates planning, execution, and resource management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with objectives.
