About the Job

Silver Spring Production and Promotion P.L.C., partner of EBS Television Ethiopia, is seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to support its broadcasting and production operations. The role will be responsible for managing logistics for studio recordings, live broadcasts, and field productions, ensuring smooth operations and timely support for technical and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate logistics for studio, live, and field productions
• Manage scheduling and dispatch of vehicles, crews, and broadcasting equipment
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and transport of technical gear (cameras, lighting, sound systems, etc.)
• Track and maintain inventory of production equipment and office supplies
• Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and service providers for timely deliveries
• Coordinate customs clearance and shipping arrangements for imported equipment
• Monitor maintenance schedules for vehicles and technical gear to ensure readiness
• Prepare and submit logistics reports regularly
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Finance teams to align logistics with broadcasting schedules

About You

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields (or equivalent professional experience)
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in logistics coordination, preferably in media, entertainment, or events industry

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of fleet and equipment management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of logistics or inventory software is a plus
• Team management skills are mandatory
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for broadcasts
