AQ Roses PLC is a prominent, Dutch-owned flower farm based in Ziway (approximately 150 km from Addis Ababa). Employing 1,200 individuals and producing 100 million stems annually, the company maintains high operational standards with certifications including Fairtrade, MPS A/SQ, and EHPEA CoP.

Open Positions

1. Junior Accountant (2 Positions)

Education: BA or MBA in Accounting and Finance.
Experience: 0–2 years.
Key Skills: Numerical accuracy, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.
Place of Work: Batu / Bishoftu.

2. Senior Accountant

Education: BA or MBA in Accounting and Finance.
Experience: 5+ years for BA holders or 3+ years for MBA holders in progressively responsible senior roles, preferably in horticulture or business.
Key Skills: Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
Place of Work: Batu / Bishoftu.

3. Greenhouse Supervisor

Education: Diploma or above in Horticulture, Plant Science, or related fields.
Attributes: High integrity, dependability, and a sense of urgency.
Bonus: Proficiency in the local language is an advantage.
Place of Work: Batu / Ziway.

4. Irrigation Department Head

Education: Diploma or above in Horticulture, Plant Science, or related fields.
Experience: Experience in flower farm irrigation departments is highly advantageous.
Bonus: Proficiency in the local language is an advantage.
Place of Work: Bishoftu.

5. Assistant Pack House Manager (2 Positions)

Education: BSc or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in rose post-harvest operations.
Skills: Knowledge of cool chain management, team management abilities, and post-harvest treatment expertise.
Gender: Female.
Place of Work: Batu / Ziway.

Salary: As per the company scale.
