Lucy Insurance is currently seeking competent, highly motivated, and detail-oriented professionals to fill six (6) distinct positions on a Permanent basis at its facilities in Addis Ababa.
Management & Professional Positions
1. Branch Manager I
- Education: BA/BSc Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Management, or a related field of study.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in active Insurance Operations, with a mandatory baseline of at least 2 years spent in a supervisory or senior-level position.
- Competencies: Strong leadership, risk underwriting exposure, and full computer literacy.
2. Senior Attorney
- Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Degree from a recognized university or college.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 4 years of professional work experience directly handling legal activities, litigation, corporate drafting, or serving as an active Attorney.
- Competencies: Excellent advocacy, legal research, and corporate risk analysis skills. Computer literate.
3. Accountant II
- Education: BA Degree in Accounting and Finance from a recognized university or college.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of progressive corporate experience operating as an Accountant.
- Competencies: Strong knowledge of IFRS financial standards, premium balancing, and computer accounting packages.
Technical, Logistics & Maintenance Positions
4. Third Party Recovery (TPR) Officer
- Education: BA/BSc Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Auto Mechanics, or a related technical field of study.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of direct experience operating as a TPR Officer or Claims Officer explicitly within the insurance industry.
- Competencies: Deep familiarity with auto mechanics, accident damage appraisal, liability laws, and recovery tracking. Computer literate.
5. General Maintenance Technician
- Education: 10th/12th Grade Complete, Technical Diploma, or Level IV vocational certification in a related maintenance/engineering discipline.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of relevant, hands-on general facilities maintenance experience.
- Competencies: Basic computer literacy combined with practical troubleshooting across mechanical, structural, or light electrical hardware systems.
6. Driver I
- Education & License: 10th/12th Grade Complete accompanied by a valid 3rd Grade (or relevant equivalent) driving license.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional driving experience.
- Competencies: Clean driving record, basic automotive knowledge, and foundational computer literacy.
Compensation & Employment Terms
- Terms of Employment: Permanent placement upon the successful completion of the standard initial probationary period.
- Salary & Benefits: Structured in accordance with the competitive Company Salary Scale and corporate benefit packages. Final remuneration packages are subject to direct negotiation based on the candidate’s exceptional background or technical expertise.
