Romel General Trading PLC is seeking highly motivated and results-driven Project and Institution Sales Representatives to join its Project and Institution Sales Department. These roles are critical in driving the company’s B2B and institutional sales strategies, targeting private and governmental large-scale building projects, real estate developments, and key corporate accounts.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Relationship & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with private and government building project owners, real estate developers, resident builders, and key industry influencers.
  • Manage high-value institutional accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving ongoing repeat business.

2. Lead Generation & Field Operations

  • Regularly visit construction project sites to inspect Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and collect crucial pipeline data.
  • Identify and pursue new project sales opportunities through systematic networking, market research, and field outreach.

3. Tenders & Document Processing

  • Retrieve and collect official BID/tender documents from various clients.
  • Prepare and offer matching Proforma Invoices (PI); upon approval, coordinate payment collections and ensure accurate, timely product delivery.

4. Sales Execution & Reporting

  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle from initial cold outreach to final contract closing and negotiation.
  • Provide dynamic product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase product benefits.
  • Track individual sales metrics, perform sales analytics, monitor competitor trends, and submit routine performance reports to management.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: BA Degree in Business Management, Marketing Management, Sales Management, or closely related business fields.
  • Experience: Proven experience in field sales, corporate sales, or business development, preferably within a similar trading, construction supply, or manufacturing industry.

Core Competencies & Skills:

  • Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and client-relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to read market trends, analyze sales data, and proactively resolve client issues.
  • Highly structured approach to daily sales planning to consistently meet strict KPIs and volume targets.
  • Ability to operate effectively both as an independent field representative and a cohesive team player.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
