To anchor its rapidly growing electric fleet maintenance facility, Elegance is recruiting an experienced, safety-conscious Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician.

Core Job Description & Technical Directives

The EV Technician plays a vital role in troubleshooting complex high-voltage propulsion networks and configuring smart mobility firmware.

1. High-Voltage Infrastructure & Battery Management

• Diagnostic & Repair Pipelines: Systematically troubleshoot, diagnose, and isolate electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults across high-voltage systems, powertrain networks, and connected smart mobility modules.
• Battery Pack Triage: Inspect, load-test, service, and actively balance high-voltage battery packs. Monitor thermal architectures and calibrate individual Battery Management Systems (BMS) to optimize cell life and energy density.
• Charging Network Deployment: Oversee the installation, validation, and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure, covering both local AC residential setups (Slow Charging) and high-output DC commercial hardware (Fast Charging).

2. Systems Telematics & Software Engineering

• Scanner Interrogation: Utilize advanced automotive diagnostic scanners to pull error codes, isolate transient electronic anomalies, and run system loop checks.
• Firmware Configuration: Execute precise vehicle software updates, flashed firmware upgrades, and electronic control module (ECM) recalibrations to ensure perfect component synchronization after servicing.

Technical Competencies	• Flawless reading of complex electrical wiring schematics. • Proficient use of multi-meters, insulation testers, and oscillo-meters.	• Mastery over modern cloud-connected digital vehicle diagnostic suites.
Workshop Safety	• Rigorous compliance with high-voltage insulated tool management and personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.	• Deep awareness of emergency battery-isolation protocols.
