Cabby Technologies PLC is an innovative smart mobility platform dedicated to providing reliable, affordable, and convenient transportation solutions through advanced products such as Cabby Share, Cabby Reserve, and tailored corporate logistics packages. As part of our aggressive operational expansion across Addis Ababa, we are seeking energetic, highly persuasive, and results-oriented sales professionals and fresh graduates to join our field acquisition team.

Position Summary & Scope of Work

As a Door-to-Door (D2D) Sales Representative, you will serve as the primary field acquisition and brand execution mechanism for Cabby. Core duties include:

  • Conducting daily field outreach visits to corporate offices, local businesses, hotels, high-density residential areas, universities, and commercial centers.
  • Formally introducing and pitching Cabby’s ecosystem of mobility services to prospective retail and corporate clients.
  • Presenting live demonstrations of the Cabby mobile application and assisting passengers with onboarding, application downloads, account registration, and initial booking flows.
  • Assessing specific client transportation dependencies and recommending optimal, cost-effective mobility service packages.
  • Securing aggressive daily, weekly, and monthly passenger activation and customer acquisition targets.
  • Gathering local market intelligence, tracking competitor dynamics, and submitting precise daily sales and field activity reports.

Absolute Eligibility & Vetting Thresholds

Cabby Technologies PLC enforces specific competency baselines for field marketing personnel. Profiles must satisfy the following vetting standards:

  • Education: Minimum of a College Diploma or TVET Level IV in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a directly equivalent field. A Bachelor’s Degree (BA) is highly preferred and serves as an added advantage.
  • Experience: Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience (Fresh Graduates with strong interpersonal drive are highly encouraged to apply).
  • Industry Advantage: Prior experience or internship exposure within ride-hailing, fintech, telecom, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), or software/tech promotion landscapes is an advantage.
  • Language & Tech Literacy: Fluency in Amharic is mandatory; professional competency in English is a distinct advantage. Applicants must possess strong hands-on knowledge of modern smartphones and mobile application navigation.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and multi-channel communication skills, with a self-motivated, target-driven posture capable of managing field pressure independently.
