About the Deborah Foundation
Established in 2019, the Deborah Foundation is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to improving and enhancing the lives of youth and children with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities across Ethiopia. Our holistic mission focuses on three core thematic pillars: inclusive education, quality healthcare, and structural policy advocacy.
Through our premier health and learning hub—Deborah Village, situated in the Legetafo Legedadi Sub-City of the Sheger City Administration—the Foundation operates specialized medical units, therapy programs, and a pre-K to 12th-grade inclusive academy. We strive to provide client-centered, compassionate care that promotes empowerment, diversity, and social inclusion.

1. Receptionist & Cashier
🎓 Education: BSc in Accounting.
⚠️ Requirement: Trilingual (English, Amharic, Afan Oromo) strictly mandatory.
⏳ Experience: Customer-facing/front-desk role (Healthcare/clinical setting preferred).
Physicians
- GP: MD, active license (Fresh grads encouraged).
- Pediatrician: MD + Specialization, licensed (Open to all levels of experience).
Nursing
- BSc Nurse: BSc in Nursing + 1+ year exp.
- Clinical Nurse: Diploma in Clinical Nursing + 3+ years exp.
Pharmacy
- Pharmacist (BSc): 1+ year exp.
- Pharmacist (Lvl IV): 3+ years exp.
Laboratory
- Technologist (BSc): 1+ year exp.
- Technician (Dip): 3+ years exp.
Radiology Technologist
🎓 Education: BSc in Radiologic Technology + 1+ year exp.
