🔹 Job Purpose
Design, implement, and maintain the Bank’s cybersecurity infrastructure and operations to protect digital assets, ensure data integrity, and mitigate cyber threats.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity solutions (firewalls, IPS, secure network zones)
- Analyze security logs, alerts, and lead incident response during cyber incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat hunting
- Maintain and optimize security tools and technologies
- Develop security standards, operational procedures, and incident response playbooks
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., NBE directives)
- Mentor junior security staff and provide technical guidance
- Evaluate new security technologies and conduct PoCs
- Collaborate with IT teams for security-by-design in new projects
- Maintain detailed documentation of security architecture and configurations
🎓 Educational Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Professional certifications (CEH, CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security) are highly preferred
💼 Experience Requirement
- 7 years of experience in a relevant position in the banking industry
- Minimum 2 years as a Senior IT Security Officer or similar role in banking
