Role Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall planning, leadership, and control of banking activities at the branch level. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategy & Leadership: Plan and organize branch operations while leading customer service initiatives.
  • Business Development: Coordinate sales efforts and maintain strong relationships with the local business community to promote the Bank’s services.
  • Compliance: Ensure all staff adhere to the Bank’s operating procedures, regulatory directives from the National Bank, and national laws.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare and submit annual budgets, work plans, and progress reports to senior management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of professional banking experience.
    • Mandatory: At least one (1) year of experience specifically in a Customer Services Manager role or an equivalent managerial position.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of modern management techniques and commercial business law.
    • Excellent team-building, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Proven ability to manage sales targets and production goals.
    • Results-driven mindset with a focus on Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
