Core Responsibilities & Technical Mandates

1. Consortium Coordinator (Addis Ababa)

  • Provide high-level governance, strategic oversight, and harmonized delivery across all co-implementing partners within the consortium.
  • Serve as the principal administrative point of contact for international donors.
  • Mainstream Gender-Based Violence (GBV) risk mitigation across project areas while driving local advocacy programs.

2. SRHR and GBV Advisor (Addis Ababa)

  • Design, refine, and optimize institutional toolkits for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and survivor-centered GBV response.
  • Establish and fortify multi-sectoral referral pathways linking clinical health, psychosocial therapy, and legal protection.
  • Build internal technical capacity and deliver evidence-based data inputs to scale up donor proposal frameworks.

3. Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (MEL) Coordinator (Addis Ababa)

  • Oversee field-level data pipelines using high-efficiency digital configurations (such as Kobo Toolbox or Logalto architectures).
  • Validate data accuracy, maintain structured record files, and handle weekly, monthly, and quarterly indicator dashboards.
  • Deploy community-facing Complaints and Feedback Response Mechanisms (CFRM) to ensure transparency.

4. Finance Coordinator (Addis Ababa)

  • Lead the consolidation of annual budgets and perform routine internal compliance reviews (payroll distribution, fixed assets tracking, accounts payable).
  • Ensure strict operational adherence to International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and Peachtree/Sage software environments.
  • Monitor government grant regulations and track third-party partner expenditures.

5. Program Coordinator (Zonal: Jimma / Southwest Shewa)

  • Oversee decentralized educational project delivery across two targeted woredas per zone.
  • Coordinate reporting tracks with regional and zonal government education bureaus.
  • Track local budget line compliance and package qualitative impact metrics for the central Project Manager.

6. Woreda Program Supervisor (12 Posts — Jimma & SW Shewa)

  • Provide direct classroom support and capacity building across an assigned footprint of 20 schools and 42 classes per Woreda.
  • Specific Locations: Jimma Zone (Shabe Sombo and Mana woredas) & South West Shewa (Walio and Wanchi woredas).
  • Work daily with school directors, teachers, and Parent-Teacher Student Associations (PTSAs) to optimize classroom delivery. Fluency in English, Amharic, and the respective local zonal language is required.

7. Junior Finance Officer (Addis Ababa)

  • Handle day-to-day transaction records, process employee payroll distribution, and run monthly bank ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist external audit teams during year-end organizational financial inspections.
  • Manage partner advance tracking, settlement vouchers, and operational advance liquidations. Requires advanced proficiency in IPSAS, Peachtree Accounting, and MS Excel.
