EBS Television, operated by Silver Spring Production & Promotion Plc, is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Purchaser to join its team. Below are the details of the vacancy:

Job Position: Senior Purchaser

Location: Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: As per the organization scale
Deadline: February 6, 2025

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assess procurement requirements, prepare procurement plans, draft specifications, and initiate the procurement process.
Assist in preparing procurement/tender documents for concerned departments.
Check the quality of deliverables and ensure procured items meet specifications and contract agreements.
Deal with vendor performance evaluations.
Ensure timely procurement of goods, logistical requirements, and services by monitoring procurement progress and following up with vendors.
Prepare procurement reports for the Administration Manager and other stakeholders.
Maintain inventory and records for vehicles, assets, office supplies, and other items.
Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Career Level: Mid-Level (5 years of experience).
